As part of the ongoing partnership with the Texas Ramp Project, on September 30, 2017, a group of volunteers from the Georgetown Rotary Club completed their thirty-fifth ramp build. These ramps accommodate the special needs of disabled and handicapped people who would otherwise be confined to their homes. The applicants must submit an application and show specific need for such a ramp.

This was just one of over two-hundred ramps built by various organizations under the guidance of Rotarian Larry Baird. With the leadership and guidance of Larry and George Lourigan, a group of Rotarians including Glenn Beck, Felix Boston, Brett Derning, Jim Deuser, Dave Kellermen, Denis Pepin and organizer Myra Page, this Pflugerville project was completed in record time.
