World Immunization Week is quickly approaching! Has your club planned how it will observe this important public health event? Rotary and our partners commemorate World Immunization Week, 24-30 April every year, to raise awareness of the importance of vaccination and highlight the success of our polio eradication efforts.
On Service Texas Day, members of our Rockdale Rotary Club came together with a shared purpose, to give back in a way that truly matters. At the MARC Center, a place that provides vital support and care for individuals with disabilities, volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work. What may have looked like simple gardening and cleaning flower beds quickly became something much more meaningful.
Putting Books - and Big Smiles - into the Hands of Pecan Springs Students
On April 1st, Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Austin showed up in full force at Pecan Springs Elementary to help place free books directly into the hands of students. For many of these students, this will be one of the only books that will be theirs.
The Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary Club helped bring smiles, laughter, and a little Easter magic to families during the community’s annual Eggstravaganza celebration on Service Texas Day.
