Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary proudly presented a total of $30,000 in scholarships to nine deserving Lake Travis High School students. Sixty people attended the Rotary luncheon on May 8 awarding the scholarships. Th students were honored again at the subsequent Lake Travis High School scholarship assembly.
Scholarships were awarded to:
Ryder Worrall: $2500 Ryder will attend Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee and will study Psychology
Ames Mayfield: $2500 Ames will study Computer Science at Rice University.
Luis Morales: $6250 Luis will attend the University of Texas and will major in Communication
Kaylynn Kolinek: $6250 Kaylynn will attend The University of Utah and will major in Entrepreneurship
Ava Simko: $2500 Ava will study Communications at Palm Beach Atlantic University
Malia Tianowach: $2500 Malia is our Interact Club recipient. She will study Pre-Law and Political Science at Southern Methodist University
Izabella Evans: $2500 Izabella will attend American University in the fall and is majoring in International Business
Maddox Fisher: $2500 Maddox will attend Texas A&M University to study Agriculture Communications and Journalism Scholarship money was raised by our annual car raffle. Details and tickets for our 2025 raffle will be coming soon.
Sarai Cortez: $2500 Sarai will study Biology at Simmons University in Boston
