Residents were invited to “shop” free of charge, choosing special items either to keep for themselves or to share with family and friends as Christmas presents. The experience wasn’t just about the gifts—it was about restoring the joy and independence of holiday shopping, something many residents miss being able to do.
Adding to the festive cheer, members of the local fire department joined in the fun, helping residents select items and sharing smiles along the way. Their presence made the day even more meaningful and memorable.
In all, more than 90 residents enjoyed the Christmas Store this year, each one leaving with gifts in hand and hearts full of holiday warmth. The Rotary Club of Marble Falls is proud to help ensure the season is a little brighter for those at Granite Mesa, truly living out the spirit of “Service Above Self.”
