The Lakeway/Lake Travis Club is adapting to how they meet and how they serve the community in light this COVID era. The club continues to meet both in person and virtually, allowing for broader participation.
The same goes for a creative way to approach their main fundraiser for high school scholarships, ShelterBox, and other club projects. Instead of the annual car raffle, the club launched the ALL IN for Our Community campaign to support these projects. A $50 donation earns a coupon with the following restaurants support:

All Star Burger
Café Blue
Chisos Grill
Cho Sushi Japanese Fusion
CraigO’s Pizza & Pastaria
Don Mario Mexican Restaurant
It’s All Good BBQ
Papa Murphy’s
Santa Catarina Restaurant
Sandeez Hamburger Hut
Sundancer Grill
Verde’s Mexican Parrilla

That way the club is encouraging business sponsors at a higher level of donation and individual sponsors. I’m not sure that I understand this sentence, so strike?

Generous sponsors in the first round include:

Alive & Well
Bee Cave Veterinary Clinic
Chick-fil-A
Warren Chirhart
Patrick & Sharon Easter
Hobbs' Ink
Lake Travis Integrative Medicine
Doug & Kathy Lindgren
Nitro Swimming
TCV Law Group

All these names demonstrate Rotary People of Action and members and businesses in the community who are ALL IN during this unique time.

HOW CAN POLIO BE SIGNIFICANT TODAY?
Speaking of unique times, what’s Polio got to do with COVID?
Recently, we sat down with Past District Governor Melinda Osborn to learn more about Rotary and the significance of World Polio Day and the work Rotary has done eradicating polio. In understanding more about Rotary International and the infrastructure that has been established around the world to fight disease, it seems this is an essential time for Rotary in our communities and around the world as advances are made towards a vaccine for COVID-19 and communities around the world are shifting in so many ways. So as we approach October 24th, World Polio Day, our club challenges us all to look at it as World ALL IN for Health Day. We are ALL IN this together and the current pandemic is a potent reminder of that!
