Bastrop Rotarians delivered the goods to Mina Elementary School staff and teachers on Friday, September 26. As a Community Partner with Bastrop ISD, the Club has “adopted” Mina Elementary, providing support to teachers, staff, and students throughout the year in a variety of ways. This delivery included snacks and school supplies for the Teachers’ Workroom.
Future plans include adopting a child for the Holidays, participating in the school’s Career Day, and providing a special Teacher Appreciation event. The Bastrop Club especially thanks Rotarian Audrianna Esser for our Adopt-A-School planning and for being our liaison with the Mina staff. President Vicky Lindsey corralled the crew for the early morning delivery and Rotarians Bo Reynolds, Steve Schroeder, Bill Owens, Robert Lindsey, Karen Trevino, and Wick Baker showed up to unload the goodies.
