Mark your calendars to be in Bastrop, Texas on November 23, 2019! The Bastrop County Rotary Club will be hosting its 9th Annual Men Who Cook fundraiser at the Bastrop Convention and Exhibit Center. This “International Edition” of our all male chef extravaganza will highlight world class cuisine from the kitchens of 24 chefs. Your $100 ticket includes opportunities to bid on Live and Silent Auction items, and an open bar, live entertainment and dancing will make the 2019 Men Who Cook a special experience.
Funds raised from Men Who Cook support Bastrop County Rotary’s local and International service projects. In addition to its on-going youth projects, Bastrop is adding new efforts to serve the homeless and to support efforts addressing human trafficking in Bastrop County. Internationally, the Club will build a 3rd and 4th shade canopy at rural Mexican schools, and will participate in multi-club Global Grant providing 50 e-learning centers for children in Nepal.
