Bastrop ISD honored Bastrop Rotary last week for being a BISD Community Partner. The Club participates in the School District’s Adopt-a-School program, supporting teachers with materials for the Staff Workroom, providing Holiday meals for staff, and donating gifts for an “Angel Tree” at Christmas.
This year the Club’s adopted school, Mina Elementary, provided prizes to students with perfect attendance. The Club donated two scooters to this effort. 2026 is the third year in a row Bastrop Rotary has been recognized for its efforts in supporting Bastrop public education.
