On September 27th, our Rotary E-Club of Central Texas along with other Rotarians and guests took a Boat ride on Lady Bird Lake in Austin for a Bat Cruise.
Bat expert Patricia Morton gave a Presentation. This event was for Polio Awareness and generous participants donated monies for our Rotary “END POLIO NOW” campaign. Proceeds were also for (youth and international programs including polio). Our Rotary Youth Exchange student Gentaine from Germany attended as she celebrated her birthday.
This event was FUN. Raffle Tickets were purchased to WIN prizes that were donated. Joan Bohls, Past President donated several of her Plein Air paintings aka outside painting. Rambler donated sparkling water. 9E Ranch Cabins Lost Pines Bastrop donated a stay. Food was donated by several Rotary members. Chairperson Dan Leal and Co-Chair Linda Tyler did an Amazing job.
