The Rotary Club of Northwest Austin is a proud partner and co-sponsor for the PACT Little Red Bag Project Community volunteers are invited to join PACT and the Rotary Club of Northwest Austin on Saturday, February 8 from 11am to 1pm at the Hill Country Bible Church Gymnasium, 1214 Ranch Rd 620 N in Austin.
Teams will be assembling and distributing 500 Little Red Bags to area children’s shelters and hospitals. Along with fun and useful items, the bags will also have helpful information like the National Human Trafficking Hotline card and educational information on how to Know the Signs: Trafficking Red Flags to help the youth to understand the danger signs amongst their peers.
 
Rick Naylor, Executive Director of PACT, shared that “child sex trafficking is a WORLDWIDE problem of 4.5 million victims and a LOCAL problem with 79,000 minor and youth victims right here in Texas!” PARTNERS Against Child Trafficking (PACT) is a ministry that is uniting communities to bring an end to child trafficking by raising awareness, preventing victimization and reducing demand through education.
