The planning and promoting have brought us to this moment. On Saturday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m., Rotarians, families, friends, and community members across District 5870 will step out together for the World's Largest Polio Walk. Some will walk with their own clubs. Some will join neighboring clubs. Others will gather at the District 5870 Walk at Lake Pflugerville. The locations and distances may be different, but at 10:00 a.m. we walk together with one purpose—to help end polio.
Now is the time to make your walk count! Wear your World's Largest Polio Walk shirt, End Polio Now shirt, or Rotary colors. Bring your family and friends. Invite someone who has never experienced Rotary. And give your walk an old-fashioned walk-a-thon twist—ask friends, family, and coworkers to sponsor your walk with a donation to PolioPlus. Create or share your personal Raise for Rotary page and make the ask. You may be surprised how many people want to help you end polio.

On walk day, take photos and share them on social media. Let your community see Rotary in action and tell them why we are walking. Most importantly, enjoy the fellowship and celebrate the opportunity to be part of Rotary's continuing effort to eradicate polio.
There's still time to join us! Find a local club walk or come to the District 5870 Walk at Lake Pflugerville, 18216 Weiss Lane, Pflugerville, Texas. The walk begins at 10:00 a.m., is free, family-friendly, and open to everyone.
