Time has definitely flown……just a short 11 months ago, I had a lot of plans, goals and hopes for District 5870. And now, looking back over the past 11 months, I am thrilled to say that many of them came to fruition. Rotarians of District 5870, YOU can be so proud of what you have accomplished.
Through your efforts and thousands of hours of service, we took on hunger, empowered girls and women, celebrated the environment and literacy, fought against the travasity of human trafficking and provided clean water and electricity to a Navajo tribe in Arizona…..and this is only from the District level. Each club succeeded to improve their own community and youth by serving in some way because that is what we as Rotarians do—Serve to Change Lives.
Thank you District 5870 for this opportunity to SERVE you as District Governor. It has definitely been a year of impactful moments.
