On Saturday, April 18th, the Lonestar Rotaract E-Club brought together an inspiring group of emerging leaders for the first-ever Rotaract Leadership Summit, held at San Jacinto College – North Campus in Houston, Texas.

Rotaractors from across the region and beyond gathered for a powerful day of collaboration, including participants from Houston metro clubs, Texas A&M University, Southwestern University (Georgetown), Texas State University (San Marcos), LSU, Atlanta, and Monterrey, Mexico. The event also welcomed Houston-area Interact Club members and their advisor, the District RYLA Chair, and a strong showing of Rotary leaders—including current and past District Governors, District Rotaract Coordinators from Districts 5910 and 5870, and the Assistant Rotary Coordinator for Zone 25B.

The summit focused on equipping the next generation of leaders with tools and ideas to strengthen their clubs and expand their impact. Sessions explored topics such as leadership development, service project design, and the evolving future of Rotaract across Texas and beyond.

Attendees also heard from impactful partner organizations, including the National Wildlife Federation and UNICEF, offering valuable insights into collaboration opportunities and global service initiatives.

More than just a learning event, the summit created space for meaningful conversations, fresh ideas, and lasting connections. As Rotaract continues to grow as a dynamic force within Rotary, this inaugural summit marks an exciting step forward in empowering young leaders to shape the future of service.
