While preparing for the start of school can be exciting for students, it can also be a financial burden on the families when asked to bring in multiple paper products and school supplies. On Thursday, 17 October 2024, addressing the need for school paper supplies to be donated by parents, the Flatonia Rotary Club delivered three cases (60 rolls) of paper towels and eighty 1” binders to Principal Laura Kutac at the Flatonia Elementary School, to offset the burden of school families having to supply them.
“The Rotary International September Theme is ‘Basic Education and Literacy’. We are proud to be able to help our Flatonia students and kick off their year by helping with supplies”, said Flatonia Rotary President, Pat Nickerson.
