The Christmas season was a busy and joyful time for the Rotary Club of Flatonia as members lived out the spirit of Service Above Self through several meaningful projects and celebrations. On Wednesday, November 12, the club gifted the Flatonia Food Pantry with $1,700 to help purchase turkeys for local families, ensuring many tables were filled during the holidays.
Supporting community institutions continued on Monday, December 1, when Rotary made a donation to the New Baptist Union Church in Flatonia toward the installation of new front doors.

Direct assistance to families was also a priority. On Thursday, December 18, Rotarians donated two overflowing food baskets to two Flatonia families, bringing comfort and holiday cheer during the season of giving.

That same evening, club members helped with donations and gift wrapping for children in the community at Blue Santa, hosted by the Flatonia Fire and Rescue Department, contributing to smiles and special memories for many local children.

To close out the season, the Rotary Club of Flatonia celebrated together with a Christmas social at Red Vault Bistro in downtown Flatonia on December 16, enjoying fellowship and reflecting on a successful year of service.

Through generosity, hands-on involvement, and fellowship, the Rotary Club of Flatonia made a meaningful impact this Christmas season—strengthening our community and sharing the joy of giving.
