At the 30 October meeting, Rotarian Stu Mica settled a friendly wager with fellow Rotarian Patricia Satterwhite—a $100 bet on whose Czhili would reign supreme at Czhilispiel! The winner’s share was destined for Rotary’s Polio Plus campaign.
Stu’s team didn’t place, while Patricia proudly took 4th place in the Hometown Czhili Cookoff! True to his word, Stu presented Patricia with the $100 at Thursday’s meeting. In the spirit of Rotary, Patricia matched his donation—and Stu matched it again—turning a lighthearted bet into a $300 contribution to Polio Plus!
