The ICU nurses on the front line at the Dell Seton Hospital get a Big “Thank you” from the Rotary Club of Austin!
Many of our frontline “heroes” never have a chance to be recognized for the jobs they are doing or think about the dangerous situation they are in.  They just do what they do because they believe in taking care of those in need. They don’t even get the normal lunch or dinner breaks or five minutes to rest. And none of the  patient’s family members are allowed in the hospital to thank these nurses for the work they do every day-day after day!  So today the Rotary Club of Austin surprised the morning and evening shifts of nurses in the ICU with individual hot meals and dessert prepared and delivered by CoJo’s Catering of Round Rock. It was our way to say “THANK YOU” and that you are loved and appreciated. Hopefully it brought a smile to these tired and weary “heroes”. Rotary’s moto is Service Above Self and these nurses live by that  motto every minute. Bless you and stay safe. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
