The Rotary Club of Georgetown completed its fifth ramp build of the Rotary year on Saturday, constructing a 30-foot accessibility ramp for a grateful homeowner in Bartlett, Texas.
In partnership with the Texas Ramp Project, Rotarians gathered early and worked efficiently to ensure the homeowner would have safe and reliable access to her home. The build not only improved mobility and independence for the recipient, but also demonstrated Rotary’s ongoing commitment to hands-on service across the region.
Under the steady leadership of ramp build coordinator Larry Baird, President Christie, Wade, Raymond, Doug, Scott, Mike, and Holly were those serving on this month's project. As always, Larry’s expertise and calm leadership guided the effort from start to finish, ensuring both safety and quality craftsmanship.
