Georgetown Rotary Club members took on Service Texas Day, March 28, with 3 separate projects. The handicap ramp build started at 8:00 a.m. in Granger, TX. By 1:00 p.m., the handrails were going up on this 50-foot build.

As 9:00 a.m. rolled around, a group of Rotarians picked up 10 beds we purchased from "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" with a DAP grant. Their mission: deliver them to Rotary teams waiting at assembly addresses across Georgetown. Ten needy kids would sleep in their own beds tonight! Meanwhile, across town on the campus of Southwestern University, Rotarians and SU Rotoract members gathered to move a mountain! A mountain of mulch to add the finishing touch to our first peace garden established on a college campus! It was a full morning of accomplishment! Well done by Rotarians and their guest volunteers! We love it when a good plan comes together!
