The Rotary Club of Georgetown was hard at work Saturday in Cedar Park, building a much-needed wheelchair ramp for a young girl whose existing ramp was in very poor condition. Led by our dedicated ramp build coordinator, Larry Baird, 13 Rotarians—Christie, Wade, Scott, Regina, Al, Raymond, Joe, Joe, Michele, Mike, Ed, Jeffrey, and Larry—joined by Rotary buddy Haley to make the project a success.

The best moment of the day came when the young girl saw her new ramp and exclaimed, “Wow, cool!” Projects like these remind us that Service Above Self isn't just a Rotary motto—it's something we put into action, one ramp and one family at a time.
