Taylor Sims, a District 5879 2025-26 Rotary Global Grant Scholar, is pursuing an MSc in Global Leadership & Peacebuilding at King’s College London, focusing on peacebuilding, dialogue, and practical approaches to long-term stability in an increasingly complex world.

Peacebuilding Through Education

At King’s College London, Taylor is gaining the knowledge and tools needed to better understand conflict dynamics and the role leadership and policy play in creating lasting peace. Her studies emphasize real-world application, preparing her to address challenges such as polarization, misinformation, and fragile governance systems in communities around the globe.

Rotary Connections Abroad

One of the most meaningful aspects of the Global Grant Scholar experience is the connection to Rotary clubs around the world. During a recent visit to London, Ellison and Fay Crider of the Rotary Club of Marble Falls had the opportunity to spend time with Taylor, strengthening the bond between scholar and sponsor. Taylor proudly shared her city, offering a glimpse into her studies, daily life abroad, and the ways Rotary continues to support and connect her across borders.

These personal connections reflect the heart of Rotary’s mission. Through mentorship, fellowship, and shared service values, Rotary clubs help scholars like Taylor feel supported while building lasting international relationships.

This is Rotary at work, turning generosity into global change.
