She has appointed me as the EHT Liaison for District 5870. As such, I am gathering information as to what each club plans to do.
Please remember that the deadline to chose your Club Champions is approaching quickly, December 4th. Ask your club members if anyone has an interest in participating as Club Champion and email their name and email of our District Governor.
Please discuss projects with your club and let me know the plans by December 20.
Sample projects are:
• Have speakers at school, PTO/PTA, Universities and foster homes from victims or law enforcement (know that a parent permission slip must be signed).
• Providing flyers for restroom stalls in bars, grills and clubs with information on how to recognize HT and who to call if you suspect it is occurring.
• Providing education to employees of schools, bars, grills and clubs, and motels/hotels on how to recognize HT.
