Members of the Killeen Heights Rotary Club recently combined service, fellowship, and a love for the outdoors during a trail cleanup at Chalk Ridge Falls. Equipped with gloves, trash bags, and plenty of enthusiasm, Rotarians spent the morning removing litter along the trails, helping preserve one of Central Texas' most scenic outdoor destinations.

The service project ensured that hikers, families, and future visitors can continue to enjoy the natural beauty of the park.

Adding to the fun was a little friendly competition among members, proving that community service is even more rewarding when shared with friends. Laughter and fellowship were abundant as the team worked together toward a common goal.

Projects like this demonstrate Rotary's commitment to caring for our communities and protecting the environment. Every bag of trash collected made a visible impact while reinforcing the Rotary motto, Service Above Self.

Thank you to the Killeen Heights Rotary Club for continuing to be People of Action and helping keep Central Texas beautiful—one trail at a time.
