The Rotary clubs of Austin and Killeen took on a meaningful and unique project over ten years ago when They started hosting a military family from Ft. Hood every month.
Here's what the July family had to stay upon leaving Austin. "Our family would like to send the sincerest thanks for all of your generosity. We truly enjoyed our Operation Vacation trip to Austin over the weekend of July 15th. We enjoyed many activities, including Zilker Parks Nature Center and the Austin Aquarium. Our hotel and rental car were very comfortable and helped enhance the experience by allowing us to truly experience Austin. The County Line Restaurant was delicious! They went above and beyond treating us to a wonderful meal and gifts. We could not have asked for a more perfect weekend together!"
