It’s time to multiply your impact! Beginning Sunday, March 1st and running through Thursday, April 30, District 5870 kicks off the PDG Bill Bradfield Memorial Matching Campaign.
As we did with the match conducted in the Fall of 2024, a portion of this match will be made in cash!  In addition to the pool of Rotary Foundation Recognition Points that have been generously donated by Rotarians around the district, District 5870 is providing an additional match pool of $20,000 in cash.

Using a combination of 1/3 cash and 2/3 Rotary Foundation Recognition Points, we will match any active Rotarian or Rotaractor's $250 to $500 contribution of new cash made to the Annual Fund-SHARE on a 1-to-1 basis.

That's right - any active Rotarian or Rotaractor.  Unlike the 2024 cash match that was limited to donors who had not yet reached PHF+8, this match is open to all donors. Remember, though, that points do not count for a member who has already contributed $9,000+.  Therefore, eligible donors who are at or beyond PHF+8 will only receive the cash portion of the match.

For instance,
  • If you are an active Rotarian or Rotaractor who is not a PHF+8 and elect to contribute the minimum of $250, you will receive a match of $83 in cash and 167 Rotary Foundation Recognition Points.  If you elect to contribute the maximum of $500, the match will be $166 in cash and 334 Rotary Foundation Recognition Points.  Contributions that fall in between $250 and $500 will be matched proportionately.
  • If you are an active Rotarian or Rotaractor who is a PHF+8 or beyond and elect to contribute the minimum of $250, you will only receive the $83 cash portion of the match.  Similarly, if you elect to contribute the maximum of $500, the match will only be $166 in cash.
Please note
  • These matches are limited to one per donor and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Match requests received before March 1, 2026 or after April 30, 2026 will not be accepted.
  • The match campaign will end early if we exhaust our pool of matching cash prior to April 30.  This will depend entirely upon how much cash is needed to complete each match.  We can support fewer matches if each pledge is $500 than we can if each pledge is $250.  I will give you a “low cash” notice when the remaining cash drops to $2,000.
Last Fall, 194 Rotarians and Rotaractors from 36 clubs contributed in excess of $169,604 and we are looking forward to another great year.

Here’s how it works:

1.  Before making an eligible contribution, please contact me via email at richkaye@hot.rr.com and let us know how much you intend to contribute.

2.  Send your contribution directly to TRF using either The Rotary Foundation Contribution Form (123-en) or going on-line at my.rotary.org/en/donate.  A copy of the Foundation Contribution Form is attached to this email.  if you elect to contribute on-line, be sure to sign into My Rotary before doing so. Once the contribution appears on your record, we will submit the match.

There are a few exceptions.  Please note that this program will not match:

      1.  Contributions made to any fund other than the Annual Fund-Share (i.e. PolioPlus, Disaster Response, Endowment Fund, Rotary Peace Centers, and Global Grants).  While these contributions are both appreciated and important, they fall outside the parameters of this program.

      2.  Foundation Recognition Point transfers.

If applicable, please provide me with the mailing address to which you want your recognition pin mailed.
