The Austin Rotary Club Foundation proudly awarded $96,500 in scholarships to Austin-area students through its annual scholarship program, continuing a longstanding tradition of investing in education, leadership, and the future of Central Texas. This year, 20 scholarships were awarded to students pursuing universities, community colleges, technical programs, and nursing pathways, with recipients representing a wide range of career goals including healthcare, engineering, education, entrepreneurship, and public service.
The scholarship recognition luncheon, held on April 28, brought together students, families, school counselors, and Rotarians to celebrate the achievements and aspirations of these remarkable young leaders. Many of the scholarships are funded through legacy endowment gifts established by longtime Rotary Club of Austin members, helping create opportunities for future generations of students across the Austin community.
