Recently, Rotarians from all across the District joined a dynamic Zoom session to explore how they can help decorate Rotary’s official float in the 2026 Rose Parade! Experienced PDGs shared stories from past parades and the magic of hand-applying all-natural materials—think rice, Brussels sprouts, kidney beans, and chrysanthemum petals.
After discussing travel and living logistics, scheduling and other essential topics, nearly two dozen volunteers stepped up for the trek to Pasadena over the winter holidays. There’s still time for a few more to join this unforgettable experience, but you’ve gotta act quickly!
