The children at Pecan Springs Elementary received two “forever “ books at the Rotary Books for Me event today. The books are paid for by the University Area Rotary Club and the volunteers were from the Rotary Club of Austin.
This project helps build home libraries for these students and they get so excited when they get to write their name in the book because it means they never have to bring it back. The books belong to them ”forever”. Literacy is one of the major focuses for all Rotary Clubs.
