Several alumni of Camp Enterprise have gone on to launch successful businesses right here in Austin. These companies now employ hundreds of people, strengthening families and giving back to the community.
At the heart of the program is hands-on experience. Students are grouped into teams where they elect their own C-suite — CEO, CFO, and other key roles — and work together to identify a real-world need, develop a product or service, and create a business plan. The experience culminates in live presentations to a panel of mock investors.
Students also gain insights from accomplished entrepreneurs who share their journeys and answer questions, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience.
A highlight of Camp Enterprise is the business simulation competition, where teams put their strategies to the test. Throughout the program, students are mentored by Rotary Club of Austin members — entrepreneurs and professionals who offer guidance, encouragement, and inspiration.
Rotary Camp Enterprise is more than a camp — it’s a launchpad for future leaders, business owners, and changemakers.
