The Rotary Club of Austin held their Public Service Awards event on Tuesday. The club recognized Sgt. Marc Taub for his outstanding 27 years with Travis County Sheriff’s department and for being part of the Special OPs department.
Sgt. Taub also teaches classes on dealing with traumatic stress at the TOSO Academy. The other honorees of the day were a team from both the Travis County Sheriff’s and Austin Police Department which deal with intervention for people in mental crisis and connecting them to mental health services. This was a great day for Rotary to ho or people who live by Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self and our Four Way Test.
