SOUTH AUSTIN Rotary club got together for their annual project of putting together dignity bags for people who are living homeless.
The 1 gallon Ziploc bags contain hygiene products, socks, water, snacks, and other things that are important to people who are living on the street. Each member then takes some of the bags to keep in their car and distribute at traffic lights where people are flying signs looking for change. The project was done in an outdoor setting with good social distancing and Members wore their masks.

At the same meeting, the club was presented several awards by our recent  former district governor, Jim Henry. These awards were for the 2019–20 year : Rotary Silver Citation, 100% Sustaining Member, 100% Member Particpation, and Public Image Rockstar.
