In a heartwarming display of service and gratitude, members of the Temple Rotary Club and Temple South Rotary Club joined forces for a special Thanksgiving project—preparing and delivering meals to firefighters across all eight fire stations in the City of Temple.

Rotarians worked together to cook, package, and distribute the holiday meals, ensuring that the firefighters who serve the community around the clock could enjoy a warm and delicious Thanksgiving dinner, even while on duty.

The volunteer team included several district leaders, among them District Governor Nominee Rod Henry of the Temple Rotary Club and Past District Governor Doug Smith of Temple South Rotary. Their participation underscored the spirit of collaboration and service that defines Rotary.

This joint effort not only provided a meaningful gesture of appreciation to local first responders but also strengthened the bond between the two clubs—showcasing Rotary’s commitment to supporting those who protect and serve the community every day.
