Thanksgiving is the perfect time to remember those that are special to us. The Rotary Club’s of Austin and Killeen in partnership with County Line and Austin Hotel Lodging Association entertained a delighting Army family from Ft. Hood with a very unique Thanksgiving.
Sgt. Isaac Travis, wife Amber and son Cedar arrives at the Hyatt Regency on Friday to the start of a fun filled weekend of gratitude and love. The staff at the Hyatt treated them with all their meals and a two night stay. The County Line treated them to a family style BBQ with all the trimming. And we found out when they arrived that they are expecting their second boy in April and that they never dreamed ofsuch a wonderful weekend. Isaac has been in the military for seven years and although he loves to serve he said he had never been so surprised at the kindness he re wives this weekend. So we are truly blessed during Thanksgiving and all through the year to have our military protecting us! Thanks to all our sponsors to make this possible.
