Rotary District 5870 has received a $25,000 Disaster Response Grant from The Rotary Foundation which will fully fund a Labor Day Weekend retreat to be held at Peaceable Kingdom by Variety of Texas. This camp is for Ukrainian children displaced from Ukraine, due to the war with Russia, now living in the Central Texas area. In collaboration with Peaceable Kingdom, the retreat will take place Friday, September 2 – Monday, September 5 at the Peaceable Kingdom location (near Killeen, TX).
We have various needs for volunteers Friday, September 2 – Monday, September 5 at the Peaceable Kingdom location.
