World Polio Day is October 24, and now is the time to start planning how your club will get involved! District 5870 will be hosting a District-wide Polio Walk as part of the World’s Largest Polio Walk, and we want clubs across the district to join us in making an impact.
Join the District Walk — or Host Your Own!
Clubs are encouraged to bring their members, families, and friends to the District Walk on October 24th at Lake Pflugerville. You can also organize your own Polio Walk in your community and invite the public to join you.
Whether you participate in the District Walk or organize a local walk, every step helps raise awareness and support Rotary’s efforts to End Polio Now.
And walking isn't the only way to participate! Clubs can also host a Pints for Polio fundraiser or another creative fundraising event leading up to World Polio Day.
