Every year since 2010, January has been proclaimed as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Take time in January to learn more about human trafficking and action steps your Rotary Club and each Rotarian can take to prevent human trafficking.

With rising tensions around the world there is a rising desire for peace. It’s what we all want instead of the conflict emerging in neighborhoods, communities, around the nation and throughout the world.
The Rotary, worldwide, has pursued the eradication of polio. Water for the Navajo Indians in Arizona is a Texas District 5870 project that is in process. Members of Rotary are addressing the problems of human trafficking.
The Rotary Club of Temple-South spent their final meeting of 2020 surrounded in the spirit of giving as members purchased 40 blankets and personalized Christmas cards to provide warmth and cheer to the residents of the Brookdale Senior Living home in Temple
The Marble Falls Daybreak Rotary partnered with CASA and CPS on November 13th to sponsor a special Adoption Day Event for children who were about to be joined into their forever families!
For 21 years, the Sun City Club, in partnership with the Georgetown Fire Department, served up breakfast with Santa while raising funds to support gift giving and holiday food for families in need in our community.
South Austin Rotary supports a soup kitchen at a 170 bed transitional housing facility in southeast Austin. Christmas day there saw a big splurge meal for more than 100 residents and some folks living in some nearby homeless camps.
Flatonia Rotary Club celebration of 82 years “Service Above Self” was held at the last Rotary meeting of the year. Chartered on 4-Dec-1939. Warm wishes from Suren Poruri, Assistant Governor, RI District 3150, from India was shared with the club.
