We kicked off our first of four District Service Projects…..End Human Trafficking….last weekend at the very successful Foundation Gala. Partnering with Global Connections International, District 5870 is increasing the awareness of human trafficking throughout the communities of 5870 by means of student assemblies in schools as well as providing End Human Trafficking fliers to those visiting the GCI EHT trailer in communities and even a County Fair this month.

After being forced to cancel the annual Christmas shopping spree for Wooldridge Elementary School children in 2020 because of pandemic restrictions, the Rotary Club of West Austin was able to resume this wonderful tradition in December 2021. The shopping spree is one of our major charitable activities.

Rotary Club of Temple Foundation Chair Barbara Bozon and Foundation Assistant Chair Eric Haugeberg hosted a celebration lunch in January for six of our newest large donors from the last matching campaign. Our goal is to grow both the number and level of our Paul Harris Fellows.
