Rose Parade Float Decoration Trip

 

🌹Unite For Good!  Help Build Rotary’s 2026 Rose Parade Float! 🎉

This winter break, say yes to an unforgettable adventure! Join us in Southern California to help create Rotary’s award-winning Rose Parade Float—an annual display of service, fellowship, and breathtaking floral artistry that reaches millions worldwide.

As thousands of seeds & flowers bloom into vibrant symbols of hope and service, you’ll work alongside passionate Rotarians under the expert guidance of the float design team. The aroma, the artistry, the camaraderie—it’s all part of the magic.
 
Imagine the pride you'll feel watching the float roll down the legendary Colorado Boulevard, knowing you helped make it happen. You may even become part of the awards presentation, watch the parade from reserved seats in the Grandstands or attend the iconic Rose Bowl game while you’re in town!
 

🎨 Ways You Can Participate:

  • 🧤 Decorator: Create stunning details using seeds, petals, and natural materials
  • 🚶‍♂️ Sidewalker: Walk alongside the float as a Rotary ambassador*
  • 🎠 Float Rider: Ride the float and represent Rotary to the world*
* = Donation to Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee required
 

🏡 Logistics to Know:

  • Volunteers Participants are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, meals, and expenses
  • Recommended airports: Burbank (BUR) or Ontario (ONT)
  • If driving, we suggest carpools, caravans, or self-drives
  • Housing Options (coming soon):
    • Rotarian homestays
    • Short-term rentals
    • Local hotels
  • Volunteers must wear the Official Rotary Volunteer T-Shirt at all times while onsite
  • All Volunteer Participants must follow Phoenix Decorating Co. guidelines
  • Volunteer Participants will be provided information on how to purchase Grandstand seating for the parade, Parade parking, and also Rose Bowl game tickets
  • A WhatsApp group will be created for easy team communication
 

đź“ť Volunteer Sign-Up & Team Info:

  • Volunteer Participant Teams of 10 will be formed on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Partial teams won’t be accepted outright, but will form a waiting list in case of vacancies until a full group of 10 is formed
  • Participant Teams will vie for decoration slots in early September
  • Preferred decoration dates: December 29 or 30
  • All paperwork, fees, and rider/walker contributions must be submitted by October 1
  • Final Participant confirmations due by November 1
