We are all facing such uncertain times at this point in our lives.  No one could ever imagine what our world, nation, state and communities would be going through at this time.  We have no idea how long this will last.  Many communities have ordered their population to shelter in place and if not so ordered to avoid contact with others as much as possible and maintain social distancing.

At this time, we as Rotarians, must try our best to live up to this year’s theme of  Rotary Connects The World.  More importantly we must first continue to connect with each other.  Our District is beginning a series of Zoom Meetings so we can continue this connection. Zoom is an online group meeting platform that allows us to all log in via a link and see each other face to face. We can chat, share ideas, view presentations and watch videos together within this platform and we want to be able to share this with each of you!

Directions for joining us: Click on the link above and simply follow the directions if you are using your laptop or desktop. You will be given the choice to either download the software to run Zoom or to simply open and run the meeting in your browser which does not require a download. If you want to join on your phone or a tablet you will need to first download the free app from your “store” and create an account and then click on the link below. The other option is to join us in audio only mode by dialing into the number below. However, I encourage you try the Zoom meeting link so I can see your smiling faces.

We need to keep our Rotary connections and Service Above Self in the forefront of our minds as we continue our daily lives even during these times of uncertainty, perhaps even more now. These connections will help us all get through this and make us stronger when it is all over.
