Bastrop Rotarians “scattered” last week to three Member businesses for our weekly meeting. Rotarian Laurence Richardson hosted at Frost Bank-Bastrop. Rotarian Rick St. Cin welcomed folks to his company offices at Capital of Texas Roofing & Siding. The law offices of Tuck-McClimon (Rotarian Joe Grady Tuck) hosted a third group of Rotarians.
Our hosts provided lunch and offered overviews of their business. Comments from participants indicated that the exercise was enjoyable and informative. Everyone appreciated having time to get to know fellow Rotarians better in the smaller groups. It was pointed out that this was how Rotary began: small groups of businessmen meeting in a rotation in their different offices. Consensus is that we should make these “scatter” meetings a regular habit!
