The Caldwell Rotary Club along with Caldwell Police Chief Barnes and Officer Kaleb Hairston are pictured with work out equipment housed in the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department. Over the past several years of the Annual Law Enforcement Banquet, the Caldwell PD has been using the funds they are awarded from the Rotary sponsored event to purchase various weights and work out equipment for their officers to use.
There are at least 10 pieces of equipment that Caldwell Rotary helped secure for the work out room. Caldwell law enforcement personnel as well as other the volunteer fire department personnel use the gym on a daily basis. The Annual Law Enforcement Banquet is held each summer to recognize all law enforcement members of the community including the police departments and the sheriff’s office. Each department is awarded anywhere from $2000 to $3000 to use how they see fit. This gym is an accumulation of several years of funds donated to the department. Caldwell Rotary serves those that serve all!
