The countdown is on! On Saturday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m., Rotarians across Zones 25B and 29 will step out together for the World’s Largest Polio Walk. It’s time to turn our plans into action. Order your official walk shirt. Invite your family, friends, and community. Promote your walk. Share your Raise for Rotary page. Together, let’s make October 24 a highly visible demonstration of Rotary’s commitment to ending polio.
ORDER your shirt. The official World’s Largest Polio Walk T-shirt is now available! Order yours early so it arrives in time for October 24. Wear it on walk day and help create a unified Rotary presence across District 5870.
INVITE your community. Ask family, friends, coworkers, community leaders, prospective Rotarians, Interactors, Rotaractors, and the public to walk with you at 10:00 a.m. on October 24. Hosting a local walk isn’t the only option—you can also join another club’s walk or participate in the District Walk at Lake Pflugerville.
PROMOTE your walk. Now is the time to reach out to local media and begin promoting your event on social media. A customizable club press release is available on the District World’s Largest Polio Walk webpage to make media outreach easy. Tell your community why Rotary is walking and why ending polio still matters.
SHARE your Raise for Rotary page. Clubs are encouraged to create their own fundraising page under the District 5870 World’s Largest Polio Walk campaign. Donations through your club’s page are credited to your club, and Rotarians who donate using the email associated with their My Rotary account receive individual credit.

The District 5870 Walk is Saturday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Pflugerville, 18216 Weiss Lane, Pflugerville, Texas. The event is free, family-friendly, and open to everyone.
