The Rotary Club of Georgetown recently hosted its ninth annual Field of Honor Celebration, welcoming nearly 200 Rotarians, community leaders, and award recipients who helped make this year’s Field of Honor possible.

During the celebration, Field of Honor Chair Jeanne and President Christie presented $20,000 in checks to Field of Honor beneficiaries, funds raised entirely through community flag sales.
Photos from the event include Field of Honor Chair Jeanne with Presenting Sponsor Gordon Logan and Stephanie Zinsmeyer of Sport Clips, whose support helped make the event a success.

The celebration also included recognition of several outstanding contributors with awards for Patriot of the Year and Community Volunteer of the Year. In addition, Rotarian Scott Larson received the Service Above Self Award. Despite being a Rotarian for less than six months, Scott was present at Field of Honor every single day, regularly arrives early to help set up club meetings, and actively participates in club ramp builds.

The celebration served as a meaningful reminder that the success of Field of Honor is made possible through the dedication of Rotarians, community partners, and volunteers working together in service.
