Operation Vacation

SSG James Brewer and his military family were hosted at the Doubletree Hilton North for Operation Vacation on Easter weekend. The weather was great; the kids got to sight see  all over Austin and fed the turtles and fish at the County Line on Lake Saturday night as they were hosted for “All You Can Eat” barbecue by the County Line.
The family got to enjoy some fast food gift cards, goody backpacks and passes to Dave and Busters. Operation Vacation is a joint project of the Rotary Club of Austin and Killeen with community sponsors Killeen Toyota, County Line Restaurants and the Hospitality Industry hotels to thank soldiers and their family for their service.
