The Rotary Clubs of Austin and Killeen hosted a military family from Ft. Cavazos this weekend through Operation Vacation. Sgt. Jose Castellon and his family had a complimentary weekend at the Austin Hilton Garden Inn.
They enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with their family, visit the sights of Austin and a fabulous dinner hosted by the County Line on the Lake. The Rotary Club of Killeen arranged a rent car for the family from Toyota Killeen and the Rotary Club of Austin put together backpacks of goodies, gift cards, toys, snacks and souvenirs for each member of the family. Sgt. Castellon shared “Thank you so much for everything. The dinner at the County Line was probably some of the best ribs I have ever had and we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn “.
