Our Rotary District's Youth Exchange program was recently recertified after a two-year hiatus as we regrouped.  Virginia Craig, District 5870 Youth Exchange Officer has been working tirelessly with Rotary International (RI) to regain our certification and her hard work paid off this past week when we received notice that we have been reinstated.

Rotary Youth Exchange is the beginning of a legacy for many students to go out and become ambassadors for Rotary and to change the world beyond Rotary.  Our Rotary International President-Elect Mário César Martins de Camargo began his life-long Rotary journey as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student from Sáo Paulo, Brazil to St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.  Mário continued his Rotary legacy joining Rotary in 1980 at the age of 23 and volunteered for many roles during his tenure as a Rotarian and becoming the fourth RI President from Brazil.

Our District is now able to continue the gift of Rotary through our Youth Exchange program for the 2025-2026 school year.
