The wait is over—and the smallest (and cutest) members of our project have officially arrived.
The Round Rock Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to share that the therapy rabbits are now at Central Texas Table of Grace, settling into their new home inside the enclosure our members built with care and purpose

From Project to Purpose
What started as a hands-on service project has now become something truly alive. The enclosure—fully built, painted, and thoughtfully designed—is no longer just a structure. It’s a space filled with gentle energy, curiosity, and the beginning of connection.
The rabbits are still babies, but they will soon grow into an important part of the animal-assisted therapy program serving children in the foster care system.
A Gentle Kind of Healing
For children who have experienced trauma, healing doesn’t always come through words. Sometimes it comes through quiet moments—holding a small animal, feeling its heartbeat, learning to care for something that depends on them.
These rabbits will offer:
- Comfort without judgment
- Connection without pressure
- Companionship in moments that matter most
Built with Love, Now Filled with Life
Seeing the rabbits in the space our Rotarians built is a powerful reminder of what service can do. What was once wood, wire, and vision is now a place of comfort, growth, and hope.
Supported by a Rotary District Assistance Program (DAP) Grant, this project creates a sustainable, lasting impact by building a therapeutic resource that will serve children for years to come.
We are grateful to be part of something that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.
