On September 19, the Rotary Club of Georgetown hosted the 2026 Seeds of Peace Summit at Southwestern University, bringing together Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, community leaders, educators, and fellow peacemakers for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration.
The summit featured engaging breakout sessions, meaningful discussions, and opportunities to explore practical ways to cultivate peace in our communities. Participants exchanged ideas, built relationships, and discovered ways to turn conversations about peace into positive action.
Presented in collaboration with Southwestern University and the Brightwell Center for Justice and Peace, the event reinforced an important message: Peace begins with each of us, and even small actions can create meaningful change in our communities.
The Rotary Club of Georgetown thanks everyone who helped plant the seeds for a more peaceful future!
