The Rotary Club of Austin-Southwest accepted an invitation from the Rotary Club of Austin to help staff an information booth on Rotary at the September 27 “Fiesta” event at the Emma Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center near downtown Austin.
Amidst the music, tribal dances, food vendors, face painters and artists’ booths, the information table helped share Rotary in Austin and its associated service opportunities with attendees as they enjoyed a leisurely, fun afternoon.
A list of all the Rotary Clubs of Austin and contact information was available. Interested attendees could pick up Club brochures as they stopped to talk about what Rotary was all about. It was a wonderful way to share Rotary’s programs and service focus.
