The Rotary Clubs of Austin and Killeen bring a military family once a month for an R&R weekend to thank them for their service . This weekend WO1 Brian Keap and his family spent the weekend at Aiden by Best Western South Hotel with complimentary rooms and breakfast each morning.
The kids were looking forward to swimming, visiting Austin and using their free passes to fun at Austin Park Amusement Park. They were hosted by the County Line at the Lake for a fabulous BBQ dinner with all the trimmings and the Killeen Rotary arranged a rent car and the Austin Rotary Club gave them toys, a tivities, games and fast food gift cards. This is Rotary’s and hospitality’s way to thank our military. According WO1 Brian Keap “we had an amazing time and it meant so much to my family. Thank you.”
Be sure to thank a soldier each time you one because they are out there risking their lives to keep us safe.
